Remy hair grades explained
* star hair is the most economical and tangel free (in dark colours white hairs may be visable)
*** star remy hair is graded much higher quality and is multi tonal with highlights and lowlights as in your own natural hair. It has an amazing shine and is very silky in texture
***** star hair grade is the superior hair its silky in texture, straight and great for syling i.e straightners and curling.This hair can also be re used.
DINKIES
This is a fairly new method and uses no heat or glue and therefore is a kinder method for hair. Hair extensions are applied strand by strand. A tiny micro ring is used to attatch clients natural hair to the strand extension. The micro ring is clamped in place using a special tool to secure. The extensions lie neatly and flattly against the head so are very comfortable to wear.
SHRINKIES
This is a similar to the Dinkies. Hair is applied strand by strand, using a special tool hair and extension are pulled through a tiny rubber tube called a shrinkie.Heat is then applied using a heat clamp and the tube shrinks to form a bond hence the reason they are called shrinkies.(see before and after page) Again this is a newer method and gives amazing results.When running your hand over your head these can no be detected. Cared for correctly they can last up to 3 months after this time it is advisable for them to be removed however they can be re applied (see price list)
HOT FUSION
This is a popular method with celebitys. Again hair is applied strand by strand, using hot glue to form a bond to attatched extensions in to hair. A traditional method very indisguisable. These can last between 3-6 m0nths if cared for properly.
PROTAC TAPE
This is one of the best methods for people looking for extra thick,glamourous and long hair.Hair is applied in wefts using a special tape to secure to the head and natuarl hair. Ideal for those who wash,dry and style frequently. Protac tape is very versatile and goes un-detected. Can last for up tp 4 weeks with correct aftercare.
LIQUID GOLD/COLD FUSION
Again with this method hair is applied to head and hair in wefts(strips). Liquid gold (glue) is applied to a weft of hair then pleced on the head very close to the scalp so is very disguised. The liquid gold glue is water proof and gives instant extensions.With careful aftercare extensions can last from 4 to 8 weeks. They can also be completly removed and re applied.Ideal for those who are looking for length rater than thickness.
